A couple months back a story broke that Microsoft had purchased Minecraft creators Mojang for the cheap price of $2.5 billion. This seems to be the first major product to come out of that purchase, as Telltale and Mojang have announce Minecraft: Story Mode coming to Xbox consoles, Playstation consoles, PC and Mac.
I consider the past couple years to be some of the best years we have seen in gaming. Since 2012 we have gotten amazing games such as Telltale’s The Walking Dead, The Last of Us, Bioshock: Infinite, Grand Theft Auto V, Mass Effect 3, The Wonderful 101, Zelda: A Link Between Worlds – The amount of fantastic games we have seen come out is staggering. The indie market has also been growing as well, with smaller games becoming more prominent in the industry than ever before. Things have been going well as of late.
Originally released in 2009 and eventually seeing an English translation for the PC in 2014, Steins;Gate is coming to PS3 and PSVita in North America and Europe in 2015.
Earlier in the week there was a leak that Final Fantasy X would be released on the PS4. Square-Enix has addressed this leak, by announcing that Final Fantasy X will be released on the PS4 in Spring of 2015.
“Nothing is as it seems…”
Everyone has that one game that they go through the effort of going through their closets, finding an old console, and plugging it in just to play one more time. I do this incredibly often with my Xbox 360 and NIER.
One of Capcom’s biggest franchises is Street Fighter, no question about that. The series has been around since the 1990s, and I remember going to the roller rink because it was the only place in town that had a Street Fighter 2 arcade machine (I sound like a dork don’t I?). After many iterations of Street Fighter IV over the past console generation, Capcom has “announced” a new game in the series, Street Fighter V.
Capcom has been on a role with Resident Evil news lately. With just a couple days ago announcing news for Resident Evil: Revelations 2, they have announced today the release date, as well as the price for the Resident Evil: HD Remake.
