Overwatch (PS4) Review

After almost two decades of Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo sequels and spinoffs, Blizzard Entertainment has released Overwatch, a brand new IP, as well as Blizzard’s first shot at developing a first-person shooter. Rising from the ashes of the developer’s failed MMO Titan, and originally proposed as a free-to-play game, I had my reservations about the game.

The one thing Blizzard is known for though is consistent quality in their games, and Overwatch is no exception; Overwatch is a great arena shooter that focuses on teamwork, objective games, and fast-paced fire fights, instead of the standard deathmatch-centric online shooters we have seen in recent years.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Review

The Uncharted series has become a major franchise for PlayStation since the first game – Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune – was released on the PlayStation 3. After almost a decade since the first game’s release, Naughty Dog has released Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which sets out to end the story of Nathan Drake, and the Uncharted series.

Uncharted 4 doesn’t go out with a whimper though; Naughty Dog has crafted an absolutely gorgeous third-person shooter, that ends the series’ story on a satisfying and emotional note, all culminating in the best game in the Uncharted series.
